Abruzzo is a region where colours are mixed in harmony: the green natural parks, the blue sea, the gold beaches and the white coasts make this region a great place to stay.
Thank to its natural varieties Abruzzo has become greatly famous as the Green Region of Europe.
One third of Abruzzo’s territory is composed of natural reserves such as: Abruzzo National Park, Gran Sasso and Laga Mounts National Park, Majella National Park, as well as Velino-Sirente Regional Park, and more then 20 Natural Reserves. Here men and nature go hand in hand to offer spectacular landscapes.
Abruzzo is not only mountains, but it also offers a wonderful blue and deep sea which draws lagoons and white sandy beaches.
You can find savage coasts as well as busy ones where people can have fun, eat typical food and drink lovely wines.
Indeed Abruzzo’s typical cuisine offers a big variety of plates, some famous all round the world as Tacchino alla Canzanese, which was taken to the moon during the first American space expedition as it is a very rich food and can be conserved for long time.
